Who are we? A bunch of enthusiasts who started the banger rally Amsterdam Dakar a few years ago. A trip of approximately 7.000 kilometres, crossing the Sahara desert in a low budget car. Why? For the pure joy of adventure and for charity. So far, the four editions have realised over 2.5 million euro contribution to different charity projects. Not bad!
The fourth edition of the Amsterdam Dakar Challenge will be completed with the 2008 February group leaving on the 16th. The first group of the fifth edition will start on Saturday November 1. Registration has started only recently and many guys and girls have signed in already.
We are introducing the Double Digit Love action and aim for a new record. In short, it means 2 million euro for charity in just one edition! Breaking records isn’t new to us, we have faced more difficult battles, but for Double Digit Love we need more to hang on to than a prayer. To achieve this, we need many many teams, Challengers who will enjoy the ride and enthuse their sponsors for the charity project selected by the teams.

Always looking for new adventures, we have introduced the Peking Challenge in 2007. At the end of September, the teams of this first Challenge returned home from a trip that has provided them with many a tale to tell and a once in a lifetime experience. After crossing two continents and driving more than 11.000 kilometres, the Challengers and their vehicles arrive in Beijing. This Challenge will also accept teams from abroad.
The Peking Challenge 2008 will depart on 12 July in order to arrive just two days before the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in China. Half of the fun are preparing your verhicle, meeting up and getting to know the other teams prior to departure. The Peking Challenge is a great endurance trip and is organised by Global Challenges BV, part of Challenge Company. The Challenge For Charity Foundation supports activities linked to charity, such as the Adopt A Hero action.
Get ready for challenging times!!
Besides organising the fully unsupported Amsterdam Dakar banger rally and the bizarre and great Peking Challenge, Challenge Company will definitely surprise you again with yet another Challenge. First in line is the Siberia Challenge, to the coldest habitat on earth, coming up in 2009. Key words of all Challenges are: original, low budget, mad, adventure, charity.
